Sometimes, clients don't want me to totally redesign their brand. Often, clients just want to revamp or modernize their branding, or make minor improvements. So, when I started going to Church Project, an Acts 29 church in Houston, TX, I thought they could use a few minor improvements for their maturing brand. Because they are a relatively new church, many of their print pieces are quite plain, so I made minor improvements to their current logo, and added a logo variation and an icon. I also designed a couple of easy pieces to incorporate into their brand, so they can have beautiful consistency throughout.
